Denis-Emmanuel Philippe is a member of the Brussels (2003) and Luxembourg (2011) Bar.
Denis-Emmanuel is an Affiliate Professor at the University of Liège (ULg), where he teaches the legal and tax regime of financial institutions.
He is one of the founders of Bloom (2015). He has previously practiced with several major international law firms.
Denis-Emmanuel is a specialist in Belgian and Luxembourg tax law. He advises primarily Belgian and international corporations in a wide array of tax matters. He focuses in particular on the following subjects: international tax planning, corporate reorganizations, real estate transactions, holding and financing structures, withholding tax issues, tax treaty application, corporate and structured finance projects, estate planning.
He frequently seeks tax rulings with the Belgian and Luxembourg tax authorities.
Publications and seminars
Denis-Emmanuel Philippe has extensively published on tax-related subjects. He is, amongst others, the author of a book on the use of Luxembourg structures (the SPF, the SICAV-SIF and the SOPARFI) by Belgian residents (Larcier, 2014, 217 pages).
Denis-Emmanuel is a regular speaker at conferences on a broad range of Belgian and Luxembourg tax issues.
